Four more days until the journey to Elgin begins. Final packing arrangements being made. Daily checking of the weather forecast happening. Everything is coming together.
This year I am going to be doing a daily update to this blog at the end of each day's ride. I am hoping to solidify as many of the memories as possible - so many of each days small memories slip away over the course of the week. The great folks at CO are going to have a "blogmobile" this year - for those who wish to post updates.
This will be a particularly exciting year on the trike - different for sure than any previous Cycle Oregon week. If the fun we had on the trikes during the Cycle Oregon Weekend is any indication - the week ride will be an absolute blast on the trike!
Updates for "on the ride" will begin the evening of the 12th. Stay tuned!
That's great to hear you'll be blogging along the route! I stumbled across this blog of yours early in the year, not sure how...I might've simply googled "Cycle Oregon Blogs" and found it. :) I've been subscribed since then and I *think* I even saw you and your sweet family at the CO weekend! (But didn't realize it until too late.) Anyway, I enjoy your cycling anecdotes and tips, so thanks!
